Taiye Idahor's solo exhibition Hairvolution, at A White Space in Ikoyi, Lagos, includes mixed media works that combine braided newspaper scraps with appropriated photographic images. Idahor questions the construction of memory by exploring hair and its connection to identity, geonology, and culture. The exhibition is open to the public until November 29, 2014.
