Call for Participation: Performance Art Workshop at Goethe Institut, Lagos

Goethe Institut Lagos has organised a two-week workshop on performance art to be conducted by German artist collective Monster Truck (Sebastian König, Sahar Rahimi, and Ina Vera). In this workshop, artists will examine strategies of performance art in historical and contemporary contexts.

Dates: November 22 - December 4, 2014 (first meeting takes place on November 22 at Goethe- Institut)

Location: Goethe-Institut Nigeria, City Hall, Catholic Mission Street, Lagos Island, Lagos

Participation:

- Art students and young art professionals, but also any art-loving and creative individual who is interested in the topic.

- Requested background in or prior experience in performing arts (i.e. acting, dancing, stage or costume design, etc.), fine arts, visual arts, music or any other related art form like film or architecture.
