In continuation of the Lagos Black Heritage Festival, "Night of the Poets" brings together a cross-pollination between music and poetry and an exploration of creative sound. Featuring sound fusions, solos, chanters, poets, and lagos beats, this peformance continues the work and practice of the late Steve Bankole Rhodes, who experimenting with multiple aspects of sound fusion. Musicans include
Agidigbo, Sound Experiment, and Renaissance Band. Poets include Fortune Chukwuebuka, Razaq Ivori, Ajobiewe, Adunni Nefretiti, Ayo Eqebiyi, Jumoke Oke, Uche Uwadinachi. This event is directed by Jahman Anikulapo.
